At the Center as well as in the nearby surroundings of Tainach / TInje, our course participants and guests find numerous possibilities for creative leisure time.
To complement the activities in the courses and seminars, the participants and guests of the Center have the club room with its artistic ambience and the self-service bar at their disposal.
Naturally the course participants have access to computers with internet access.
In addition the Center has its own pool and gardens.
For the jogging and biking enthusiasts there are well-used paths nearby. Several lakes for swimming, for example Klopeiner See and Turnersee, are within a few kilometers of Tainach and can be easily reached by car or bike in a few minutes.
For the hiking enthusiast there are a variety of hiking paths, shorter or longer ones, easy or more difficult ones, at hand. The area of Hemmaberg, about 20 kilometers from the Center, is a popular and attractive area for walks or short hikes. The archeological diggings there of a early Christian churches, the Rosalien Grotto that is well-rooted in the faith of the local population, and the wonderful view of a large part of the Jauntal Valley remain in the memories of the visitors for a long time.
For the more ambitious hikers, there is the Petzen (29 kilometers from the Center, approx. 1.5 hours to the Wackendort Hut and the cross at the top) or the Hochobir (35 kilometers from the Center, approx. 1.5 hours to the Eisenkapple Hut and the cross at the top).
The numerous churches and monasteries (for example, Eberndorf or Griffin) of the area are inviting to the visitor for sight seeing and just to stay awhile.
